Weekly Menu (3/16/14-3/22/14)

This week in our Bountiful Basket (which I share with my brother) we got:
  • potatoes
  • celery
  • lettuce
  • kale
  • cucumber
  • mushrooms
  • green chilies
  • spaghetti squash
  • tomatoes
  • pears
  • apples
  • oranges
  • pineapple
We also got a super tropical pack add-on:
  • dragon fruit
  • pineapple
  • coconut
  • mango
  • plantain
  • peppermint
  • vanilla
  • ginger
  • granola (which my brother got)
  • sweet tortillas (which my brother got)
The kids' breakfasts will consist of their choice of:
 and lunches will consist of:
  • Sandwiches (Peanut Butter and Jelly or Ham)
  • or Crackers, veggies, and hummus
  • chips or crackers
  • fruit (usually apples or bananas)
  • milk
Sunday:
  • breakfast: scrambled eggs with veggies
  • lunch: sandwiches, celery sticks and hummus
  • snack: orange slices
  • dinner:
Monday:
  • breakfast: hard boiled egg and an orange
  • lunch: leftovers
  • snack: veggies and hummus
  • dinner:
Tuesday: 
  • breakfast: smoothie
  • lunch: leftovers
  • snack: veggies and hummus
  • dinner:
Wednesday:
  • breakfast: hard boiled egg and an orange
  • lunch: Leftovers
  • snack: hummus and veggies
  • dinner:
Thursday:
  • breakfast: scrambled eggs and veggies
  • lunch: leftovers
  • snack: apple
  • dinner:
    • Crepes filled with:
      • ham and eggs
      • peanut butter and jelly
      • fruit, etc.
Friday:
  • breakfast: hard boiled egg and an orange
  • lunch: leftovers
  • snack:veggies and hummus
  • dinner: 
Saturday: 
  • breakfast:  scrambled eggs and veggies
  • lunch: sandwiches
  • snack: apple slices and peanut butter
  • dinner:
